Bicycling in Matsu is the best way to commune with the nature and the most comfortable way for sightseeing, There not many vehicles on the islands and partial road sections are altered from the early wheel rut road, with forest and slowly blowing sea breeze, bicycling might introduce different mind inspiration.

Riding bicycle on the island have to have completely safe preparation, Since there is no bicycle hiring service on the islands, Tourists have to prepare by themselves, they will have to penetrate the Taiwan horse wheel to consign for shipment or the airplane aerial transport way to transport the bicycles to Matsu, the basic repairing tool will also have to be prepared by tourists, otherwise, hiring taxis goes with hiking is also an ideal way for sightseeing.

Nan Gan has smoother topography, footpaths are suitable for bicycling or hiking, the path to the high peak and the Yuntai mountain is steep and more challenging, the newly finished combat path, which is from ox peak to Nan Gan airport attracts many people to take a walk all day. Tourists like to watch sunset may choose the path from the Tei Ban towards Jin sand, then go to Shi Wei footpath in Ma Gan for sunset watching.
