Matsu Landscape

The beauty of Matsu is made by the ocean—the solid granite became beautiful scenery contributed by wave erosion through the years which is totally different from the seashore of Taiwan Island . You can see the wave erosion scenery around the whole islands, such as the stack, marine arch, notch, and gully of Dongyin Island , especially the famous Dragon Sea Cave . The wave erosion topography in Chukuang is also impressive, the stack and marine arch of Chukuang are glorious. The scene of wave erosion topography in Dongyin has to be viewed from high, however, the wave erosion topography in Chukuang can be viewed from horizon, and you can easily tour in the land-tied island to get close to and feel the magnificence after ebb, such as the shingle beaches of land-tied island in Yongliou of Dongchu and Snake Mountain of Sichu. There are varied ecological landscapes due to the difference of stones between water area and shingle beach.
